tanos was born in 1920.  Tanos' father was nicolas nemr abou haidar and his mother was talji sabaa abou haidar.  His paternal grandfather was nemr elias abou haidar and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>.  He had two brothers and two sisters, named elias, adib, adibeh and takla.  He was the third oldest of the five children.
