shakib was born in 1904.  Shakib's father is mousa diab abou haidar and his mother is alia mikhaeel.  His paternal grandparents were diab said abou haidar and saoud tabsharani.  He had a brother and three sisters, named fouad, alice, nelly and genny.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 79 in 1983.
