hassan was born on August 12th, 1952.  Hassan's father was nicolas elias abou haidar and his mother is zakia melhem abou haidar.  His paternal grandparents were elias nicolas abou haidar and handoumeh.  He has four brothers and three sisters, named ghassan, george, elias, john, vilma, awatef and jouana.  He is the sixth oldest of the eight children.
