elias was born in 1925.  Elias' father was nicolas nemr abou haidar and his mother was talji sabaa abou haidar.  His paternal grandfather was nemr elias abou haidar and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>.  He had two brothers and two sisters, named adib, tanos, adibeh and takla.  He was the youngest of the five children.
